Without taking away anything from Chris Gayle's gesture, I am curious why he has to play a match such as this to get the money for his brother's treatment. What if his team had lost? Would his brother suffered without treatment? Also - these days leading players earn large sums of money. Are we to believe that Gayle, being a professional cricketer for so many years, didn't have the means to get medical treatment for his brother?
