survivors – we do not give up easily

On BBC TestMatchSpecial Blogspage:

An email from a Senior Content Producer of BBC Sport Interactive has confirmed
our link had been removed following a complaint about our content.
His investigation has not revealed any truth in the complaint.

We are back on the TMS Blogs list of related sites.

Difficult times:

The Silly Point has been through difficult few months.

A bunch of dishonest forum administrators,
having failed in an attempt to take over the site, had no choice but to leave.
They have been running a persistent hate campaign, with outrageous and untrue claims.

This complaint to BBC was just another example.

The reason?

To try to destroy what we had, the reputation of being a clean and unbiased cricket site.
To claim it for themselves, to start a forum and to poach away our members.
To grow by scavanging off this website.

Yes, there were many who left, they were not interested in the truth.

Survivors:

In spite of the hate,
we have come through, our Pageranks have climbed,
and we are getting the recognition for the quality of our content and presentation.
We have weathered through it all, and we have held onto our principles,
we are back into our recovery, the re-inclusion on BBC is our turning point.

We are the “silly point” – a position only for the braves.
We do not give up easily.

We are not just a discussion forum, we are a complete website.
We are proud of our amateur status, we are not in it for the money.
The evidence is in the complete absence of advertisements and spams.

If you ever wish to share with us, our forum,
that believes in principles and will always deliver what it promises,
we are one of the very few,

“Silly Points” – cricket without boundaries.

Keep up the good work @hina.

It seems odd that BBC should turn a blind eye to such mean-spirited people.
