what really is the problem with Team India.

We have heard the Coach and the Captain at press conferences.
We will soon hear the tour manager’s ‘confidential report’.
Emails will be conveniently leaked.

Ultimately the players will take all the blame,
everyone else will go off scot-free,
with not so fat cheques in their pockets.

We had a ‘star-studded’ line up.
Four years ago we were in the finals.
Now we have been sent back like Bermuda and Canada and Kenya and Holland.

The players have already been tried and convicted by the media.
But before I decide that it is our ‘model’ players who goofed it up,
I would like to hear their perception of the problem.
No shackles,
No gagging orders,
No threats of disciplinary actions.

Just for once, let us know what caused our team to rot so fast.
Besides if all you managers have ‘done your best‘,
you should not be afraid of the truth.

So please,
just for once let them freely speak.
